This summer, students from across Maui District got the opportunity to explore careers in healthcare, the fastest growing sector of the economy in Maui County and the State of Hawaiʻi, thanks to a collaboration between Maui Economic Development Boar, STEMworks, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Pacific Cancer Institute, Hale Makua Health Services, Hawaiʻi/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center, University of Hawaiʻi Maui College, and the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education.
