Earth Day at Keālia Pond
April 22 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeKeālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge invites you to celebrate Earth Day–and more specifically Earth Month and Native Hawaiian Plant Month!
We’ll be creating seed balls out of clay, soil, and native plant seeds, (which you can even take home), painting rocks to add to our Native Pollinator Garden, and using natural dyes from Hawaiian plants to watercolor postcards! These stations will run from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Join us in our out-planting volunteer session from 9:00am-10:30am.
Come get artsy and have fun, while also celebrating our connection to our ʻĀina!
