Locals and visitors of all ages are invited to gather on the iconic Seabury Hall Campus, located on the slopes of Haleakala just one mile above Makawao, to enjoy its rolling expanse of white tents, purple jacaranda, and blooming agapanthus for the 44th annual fair, which opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m.

The juried craft show features the work of some of Hawaii’s finest artisans and crafters – more than 100 in all – including woodworkers, traditional Hawaiian artists, jewelers, ceramists and seamtress. It’s a relaxed, scenic setting for locating a unique “Made on Maui” gift that Mom will cherish, while enjoying live music at multiple venues.

Restaurant Row offers such treats as teriyaki chicken, pork chow fun, pulled pork and spam musubi. Afterwards, dessert and coffee can be found at the European-themed cafe. Other highlights include a silent auction that includes hotel packages and art among its offerings, the island’s largest rummage sale, tropical flowers and plants, plus a giant waterslide, old-fashioned games, face painting and bouncy castles for the kids.

“The Seabury Hall Craft Fair has become a tradition for many Maui families, as a way to extend Mother’s Day into an entire weekend,” says Sarah Bakhiet, Seabury Hall’s Head of School. “People from all over the island enjoy coming to Upcountry to ooh and ahh over the beautiful flowering trees, and to spend a fun day strolling across the gorgeous campus while enjoying delicious food, fun activities and endless shopping options. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for the day.”

And every dollar spent at the Craft Fair is something to feel good about because Seabury Hall’s proceeds from the fair benefit its financial aid program. This fund supports diversity of the student body and access to education, as over one-third of Seabury Hall students from throughout the island are awarded financial aid.

Admission is $5 for adults. Children ages 12 and under are free. Free parking is available; premium parking is $10. Bringing your own reusable shopping bags will help to keep us green.
