Our Annual HWS Holiday Faire, now in its 35th year, has been a beloved holiday tradition enjoyed by thousands of people over the years. The Faire benefits the school in a multitude of ways. At its core, it is a celebration of community warmth and the joy of the holiday season. The Faire attracts nearly 3,000 people annually from our Maui Community. The revenue from all the beautiful and fun activities serves as a fundraiser for our HWS Tuition Assistance program.
This year, the pandemic has caused us to reimagine how we hold our beloved Holiday Faire. We are committed to creating a Holiday Faire experience that reflects the joy of Holiday Faires of the past and celebrates our shared values of warmth, love, and community connection.
In this spirit, we have created the HOLIDAY FAIRE AT HOME EVENT.
This virtual event will be centered around a Virtual Concert featuring our HWS ‘ohana, student performances, and local musical favorites streaming to you via Facebook on Saturday, December 5th, at noon.
We have created a Holiday Faire at Home Online Marketplace where we are offering festive ways to create the warmth of Waldorf in your home for the holidays!
We are offering pre-orders of:
- Holiday Wreaths; Beautiful fresh and lovingly handmade
- Homemade Organic Breads (Ginger Spice, Banana Chocolate, and Sourdough, and Rye)
- Sweet Craft kits to make at home with your family or to give as gifts!
- Delicious Thai Food meals
- And HWS Holiday Faire event shirts
Supplies are limited, so place your orders early!
Although we are sad not to host the Holiday Faire in its traditional form, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the strength of our connections as a community and enjoy the great gift of being together in whatever ways we can. We are so blessed and so grateful. While typically 100% of the funds raised go toward our Tuition Assistance Program, this year we want to give back to our Maui community. We will be donating 10% of our funds raised to The Maui Food Bank.
