Earth Night

Maui Ocean Center will start Earth Day celebrations early with a new “Earth Night” educational event from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 20. This family-friendly evening will feature face painting, live music and ocean-themed activities led by marine naturalists. Diver presentations inside the aquarium’s Open Ocean exhibit will take place at 7 and 8 p.m., and there will be special showings in the Sphere Theater. Along with hosting a coral feeding station, Maui Ocean Center marine naturalists will lead keiki activities including a fossilized shark tooth dig and sustainable fishing activity.

Earth Day at MOMI

Come celebrate Earth Day at Montessori School of Maui on Saturday, April 20th from 10 am – 2 pm. There will be live music, interactive booths, crafts, and sustainable giveaways. FREE and open to the whole community with RSVP.

Healthy Kids Day

Healthy Kids Day is the Maui Family YMCA’s open house where all events are free of charge from 8 am to 5 pm. The Town Party is a time to gather our Maui communities all in one place for a day filled with the aloha spirit. There will be food trucks, live music, dancing, craft vendors, resources, games and a raffle. 


SOS Earth Day

UHMC’s Student ʻOhana for Sustainability (SOS) club is partnering with Maui Huliau Foundation and Hulihia to host their annual Earth Day celebration on the campus Great Lawn and back parking lot on Monday, April 22nd from 3-6 pm. This free event is open to the public and will be an interactive, education-oriented opportunity; including local community-based organizations that are tackling pressing environmental issues across Hawaiʻi. There will be an emphasis on the recent wildfire relief efforts and providing necessary resources for affected individuals. The event will feature food, drinks, entertainment, keiki yard games, and guest speakers, with outreach booths by local nonprofits and government agencies.
