Carden Academy of Maui will be a bustling world marketplace for both children and adults.
On October 16, 2010, the Carden Academy of Maui brings back to the community it’s annual Fabulous Fall Festival. The school grounds are transformed into a vibrant farmer’s market celebrating the bountiful gifts of nature and sharing the fun of a bustling lively marketplace. Among the festivities offered are arts & crafts activities for kids including mask making, scarecrow creations, face painting and beading. Add to that, fall baking classes, books to peruse, live music, a bouncy castle, a hula hoop dance off, an obstacle course and lots of pumpkins, then the fun never ends! The marketplace offers fresh local organic produce, cut flowers, plant seedlings and unique world market stalls including exclusive Kenyan Kikoys, handwoven baskets from Morocco and other surprises. Special guests include the Alii Kula Lavender Farms, Mana Foods and the Ohana Ranch of Maui’s miniature ponies. Admission $1 or canned good for the Maui Food Bank.
