The enchanting modern classic Disney’s Frozen Jr will take Maui by (snow)storm this summer when Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) presents ten performances July 19-28. Featuring more than 60 young performers, the show is the culmination of MAPA’s Summer Musical Theatre Camp.
Rooted in the philosophy that sustained participation in the arts is essential to the development of children, the camp includes rehearsals, performances and a conservatory program with classes in singing, dancing, acting, stage combat, scenic design, stage make-up, how to read music, and more.
The camp attracts students representing a range of ethnic and economic backgrounds from Maui, other Hawaiian islands and the mainland. In existence longer than any other performance camp on Maui, MAPA’s Summer Musical Theatre Camp is finely tuned to deliver a high quality experience – both educationally and artistically.
