Seabury Hall Performing Arts presents an outdoor production of Shakespeare’s most magical comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Join Puck, Oberon, Titania, and all their spirits outdoors under the jacarandas. Seating is on chairs on platforms, with limited grass space for short lawn chairs and blankets. Dress warmly!
Sally Sefton directs the cast of two dozen Seabury students. Vanessa Cerrito choreographs the spirits and designs the 1920s era costumes with Andre Morissette.
The spirits are lead by Puck (Kelsey Greenway), Oberon (Gregory Saydah) and Titania (Makena Wright). The two pairs of young lovers are played by Ariella Brandon, Zoe Harrelson, Zeb Mehring, and Ryan Noufer.
The “rude mechanicals” are led by Zowie Haugaard (Bottom) and Taka Tsutsui (Quince). Wyatt West plays Flute/Thisbe, Tyler Gentile is Snout/Wall, Daniel Pietsch is Starveling/Moon, and Adam Lundblad is Snug/Lion.
John Bailey is the Duke, Theseus. Laura Mayron plays his wife Hippolyta. They are attended by Kathryn Adler (Egeia) and Rhiannon Hernandez (Philostrate). The chorus of spirits is played by Celina Bekins, Kristina Brown, Ashley Chen, Mika Eisen, Danielle Ferrer, Lindsey Gomez, Ana Rogers, Cassidy Ross, and Kara Termulo.
