Exploring Nature at YMCA Camp Keanae
Session 2 Apr 1 – Apr 3. 2011
Don’t let your family suffer from Nature-Deficit Disorder! Families who explore, learn and play outside regularly are healthier, happier and more fulfilled; and their kids are smarter, more cooperative and more creative. Come out to Camp Keanae and experience nature together. We will hike, swim, play games & have family competitions, explore a Keanae taro patch, create art projects and enjoy campfires – be prepared to have a lot of fun! Date: Friday – Sunday
Come together as a big ohana for dinner Friday, 6:00 pm and then end with Sunday breakfast at 9:00 am.
Creative Writing and Arts Camp at YMCA Camp Keanae
Mar 24 – Mar 26, 2010 (March 25th is a school holiday, Prince Kuhio Day)
Thursday, leave Kahului at 5:00 pm Saturday, return to Y at 4:00 pm.
Ages: 8 – 15 years
Art mediums to be explored: paper marbling, origami (Japanese paper folding), painting, poetry/story building, writing, book-making, storybook illustration. Bring your favorite story book. All other supplies provided. Fees: Member: $195 Non-Member: $390 Includes transportation (to and from Keanae), supplies and meals

7:30 am – 5:30 pm (all sites/all camps) Late pickups will result in a fee of a $1 a minute after 5:30 pm

Camp Moana Specialty Camps
All Specialty Camps are taught by staff trained in a particular sport or activity. When not in their Specialty Camps campers will be participating in the Camp Moana program schedule. Times of year offered and prices for these camps will vary.
