March is Read Across America Month and My Two Hands & The Reading Clinic are celebrating by creating a library for the kids at Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Shelter in Wailuku.
Lots of Ways to Get Involved!
HELP CREATE A GIANT HANDPRINT RAINBOW at Keopuolani Park on March 11th. We’ll be printing our rainbow on shirts, stamps & more for a fundraiser to help build a library for the keiki at Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Shelter in Wailuku.
BRING A BOOK TO GIVE! Please bring gently used or new books you’d like to donate to the keiki at the Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Shelter.
*Books should have ALL pages
*Books should be in good enough condition you would be willing to give them to a friend.
HAVE FRIENDS WHO CAN’T MAKE THE EVENT:
*Trace their handprints and bring them with you. We will include them in the rainbow.
*Ask them if they have books to donate and bring them with you!
IF YOU CAN’T MAKE EVENT:
**And you’d like your child’s handprint to be apart of the Giant Rainbow. Trace your child’s hand and mail it to:

**Handprint must be received by Monday, March 14
**OTHER BOOK DROP OFFS: Now thru Fri., March 25th
The Reading Clinic, Monday thru Friday during 3-5pm. If a tutor can’t come to the front, just leave them in the front office.
