Ages 6 to 11
Cost: Maui 5-day program: $265 (for members) or $340

Something is happening all around that we can’t live without, but is often overlooked…What could it be? Pollination!  It’s a fascinating process involving the movement of pollen so that a plant can complete its life cycle and is often assisted by creatures known as pollinators.  Throughout the week, we’ll search for pollinators in forest, waterways and gardens near and far to learn how both plants and animals, including humans, depend on them for survival.  We’ll even get to meet a beekeeper and see the equipment and tools they need to work with a beehive and discover the many gifts that bees provide!  During our adventures, we’ll also investigate the issues that threaten pollinators and learn what we can do to help.
