TEEN MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
for students entering 9th grade and up
Calling all dancers, singers and actors entering ninth grade and higher. You’ll get professional-level training in musical theatre as you rehearse and perform the musical Pippin.

Camp Dates:
NEW THIS YEAR: Due to the variety of school schedules, we will have only 4 weeks of camp during the summer. To ensure that we have enough time to fully rehearse the show, we have scheduled additional camp workshops on Sunday afternoons in April and May to learn group choreography. This is a big dance show and we’ll need all the time we can get with the choreography. We are very fortunate this summer to have Katie Higuchi as our choreographer. Katie was trained in Fosse technique and choreography by Ann Reinking!
Choreography Workshops: Sundays: April 13, 27, May 11, 18, 25, June 1

Full-time Camp: June 9 – July 4
Mondays – Saturdays, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Actors cast in leading roles may also be called to rehearse 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm after camp hours.

* For the third year in a row, we are delighted to offer this significantly reduced tuition rate for the Teen Camp due to the generosity of several donors who are committed to ensuring equal access for all teens to MAPA’s professional-level training. Please note: scholarships and payment plans are not available for this camp.

These camps are a great place to try something new! Designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced students, the camps culminate in a sharing for family and friends on the last day.
