Baldwin Avenue is closed from the top of Makawao Avenue down to Brewer Street beginning at 5:15 PM. Guests joining our M3F town party can enjoy free entertainment, a variety of Maui’s food trucks and booths, arts and crafts, the Keiki Zone with magic, interactive activities, and especially our Makawao merchants with great local shopping and restaurants. This is a FREE rain or shine community event.

The main stage will feature all-time M3F favorite Capt. Randolph S. Coon with the Haiku Hillbillys from 6:00 -8:45 PM.

Enjoy a very special appearance with the Maui Madrigals, a cappella singing group costumed in Renaissance garb starting at 6 PM strollin’ through town on their way to the main stage from 7:15-7:30 PM during band break.

Kathy Collins, actress, storyteller, comedian and proud Maui girl, will enliven us as Maui’s all-time favorite emcee extraordinaire who will share her “Tita’s Night Before Christmas”.

TOYS 4 TOTS at Makawao 3rd Friday ~ ‘Tis the Season for Giving

The United States Marines, Street Bikers United Maui Chapter, the community and area businesses come together to support the Salvation Army and Maui’s Keiki during the holiday season. All donations stay in Maui County and help all the deserving keiki from Moloka‘i to Hana to Lahaina to Wailuku. Thousands of toys, games, sports equipment and gift cards are given out annually. Find our big wrapped donation box in the Komoda Bakery Keiki Zone next to Santa Derek! Please offer unwrapped gifts only. You may also find donor forms at the M3F info booth. All proceeds are 100% tax deductible.

Santa Derek took a hiatus from the frigid weather up in the North Pole to spend some time on Maui with our keiki to create a positive and friendly Santa experience in the Komoda Keiki Zone, 6-8 PM.

The delightful Makawao Elementary School “Dance Time” will perform at the top of Baldwin Avenue starting at 6 PM. Dance Time is an after-school program where students learn and perform routines and develop confidence through singing, acting, and dancing.

Hula Grill Santa

Every year Santa makes a special trip to Maui before Christmas. Watch as his team of reindeer paddle Santa onto Kaanapali Beach via outrigger canoe. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be on stage in the Barefoot Bar to sit with kids and hear their wishes. Santa’s Elves will be busy in the Santa’s Workshop where your keiki will get to decorate Christmas Ornaments. Festivities start at 3:00!

Bring your cameras, and your appetite. Best photo tagged with #santainslippahs will win a $100 gift certificate to Hula Grill Kaanapali. Seating is first come first served, but you do not have to dine at Hula Grill to participate. It’s just better for pictures when you do. Parking validated with purchase.

Santa will have to leave before sunset, so it is possible we will have to turn away late comers. Please be early to avoid this disappointment.
