YMCA Healthy Kids Day 5K & Fun Run for the whole family

Healthy Kids Day is a nationally celebrated YMCA event highlighting our delivery of mission-based programs that support the healthy growth and develop-ment of kids. Children who possess knowledge of and who are taught to practice healthy habits will grow into strong kids.
YMCA Healthy Kids Day will serve as a platform for the Maui Family YMCA to (1) showcase YMCA programming that helps children achieve healthy lifestyle, (2) raise public awareness of the importance of a healthy life-style and (3) support community strategies to improve the health of youth and their families.
Where: Maui Family YMCA
Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. Fun Run starts immediately after 5K.
Who: Anyone who wants to have fun and teach children the importance of health and fitness. Individuals are encouraged to participate in either run event and the Healthy Kids Day activities following the races.
Distance: The one mile fun run will be for kids or moms and dads with their strollers. The 5k is a 3.1 mile course through Keopuolani Park. Both races start and finish at the YMCA.
Why: Your participation is highly needed to promote healthy lifestyles for children and to generate funds for the YMCA Strong Kids Scholarship Funds.
