Make a Reservation for the Pumpkin Patch

It’s almost October and you know what that means. It’s time to head up to Kula Country Farms. Please note: Reservations are now required for The Pumpkin Patch. This annual event is dear to many families so make reservations in advance, as they cannot ensure availability due to COVID-19 restrictions. Don’t forget to include everyone in your party, including your children. They will be limiting the amount of people in the patch and you will have only 1 hour for your visit. If you arrive without a reservation, they can help you make one at the entrances, if there is space available for that current time slot. To make sure you’re not left out, head to kulacountryfarmsmaui.com and pick a day and time to reserve your spot during the month of October.

Celebrate Poet W.S. Merwin

When the world feels upside down, there’s nothing like poetry to fill the soul. On September 30th at Noon, gather virtually with friends around the world to celebrate the poetry of W.S. Merwin on the occasion of his birthday. Puanani Burgess, Forrest Gander, Jorie Graham, Rachel Eliza Griffiths, Paul Holdengräber, Ada Limón, Christopher Merrill, Kevin Young, and Matthew Zapruder will read selections of William’s poetry along with several other special guests yet to be announced. You’ll get glimpses of the newly restored house and garden dojo and the palms that envelop them, all set to music recorded by award-winning composer, singer-songwriter and slack-key guitarist Makana. Visit merwinconservancy.org to register for this unique event.
