Celebrate the return of the Maui Sugar Plantation Days Festival
The Maui Sugar Plantation Days Festival has returned! This celebration of plantation life will feature food and performances from the many cultures that immigrants brought with them when they came to work on Hawaii’s sugar plantations. Kids 5 and under are free. Performers include Maui Taiko, Maui Portuguese Cultural Club, Isle of Maui Pipe Band, Dance International Production, Kathy Collins, Kalimaya Herrera Exergy 35, Hula, Korean Community, Maria Lanakila Filipino Catholic Club, Maui Korean Association K-Pop.

Visit the Pumpkin Patch
When October rolls around, families across the island flock to this beloved activity at Kula Country Farms. The patch is open every day in October and boasts amazing views, handpainted photo opportunities throughout the property, and of course, the biggest selection of pumpkins on the island. Besides pumpkin picking, keiki can enjoy the children’s garden, farm animals, Halloween crafts, and ono food.

Watch Weiner Dog Races
Maui Humane Society is excited to partner with Maui Brewing Co for the first annual Barktoberfest Saturday, October 1st. Come by for live music, wiener dog races and more. Tickets are $40 each for all-day access to the event 12-6pm. Fun limited edition t-shirts and beer steins available for purchase. Dressing up in your best Oktoberfest attire is strongly encouraged!
