Commit to Eating Local
The Eat Local Maui Challenge is back this week, and there’s still time to hop aboard. We just love the Eat Local Maui! community’s effort to engage with everyone’s roadblocks (Where do I shop? What do I make? What IS this?). From October 23-29, participants of the challenge will be eating 100% Hawai’i-grown food. The hope is to shine the light on farmers, fisherman, and ranchers, and show what’s possible by rejecting dependence on imported foods. Register at www.projectlocavore.com to receive a book of 100% local recipes to guide your way. Can they make it any easier?
