Make time for music

The Maui Arts & Culture Center will be streaming the phenomenal Gretchen Rhodes Band on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 7:30 pm. Singer/songwriter Gretchen Rhodes appears with her band in this exclusive concert. She has collaborated on stage with an impressive list of music industry heavies, including George Clinton, Steven Tyler and Pat Simmons and has toured with Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of Traffic, Dave Mason, along with guitarist and founder of The Blues Brothers, Steve Cropper. When not touring, Rhodes fronts Mick Fleetwood’s Band with the legendary Fleetwood Mac drummer. All Live @ the MACC shows streamed on: the MACC website, Facebook and YouTube pages.


Volunteer at Giggle Hill

There will be a playground work day on March 13, 2021 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm for Kalakapua Playground at Giggle Hill in Haiku. This community-maintained park needs your help! Get crafty with recycled materials

Let’s get creative! Azeka challenges Maui keiki to reuse, recycle, and recreate during their Keiki Craft Virtual Event. Bring new life to old objects. Create artwork out of used items. Release your inner artist and make a sculpture, mural, collage, puzzle, or more! Reuse, Recycle, Recreate: Discarded or old items, bottlecaps, household items, natural items and beach finds. Contest is open to keiki of all ages! A winner will be chosen from each age group.
Age group 1: 2-4 years old
Age group 2: 5-7 years old
Age group 3: 8-10 years old
