On Friday, March 31, from 5:30-7pm, The Shops at Wailea will host their monthly concert series, Ke Kani Hone O Wailea, headlined by Hawaii’s queen of soul, multi Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winner, Paula Fuga (@pfunklove). Paula never disappoints and we know we will be there, will you?! As part of this new concert series, the Shops at Wailea will partner with a local nonprofit and for this event, guests will have the opportunity to interact with Maui Humane Society, make a donation, and even adopt a pet.

A Night in Hall-ywood

This past Thursday evening, the Middle School Contemporary Music Ensemble at Seabury Hall presented its take on popular music themes from Hollywood, including Latin and rock and roll songs with the Upper School Maunalei Music Ensemble adding touches of modern pop and blues. If you missed the fun, the musical celebration of Hollywood continues tonight with Seabury Hall’s chorus. Singers in grades 7-12 will perform a wide variety of songs that are sure to delight. From Disney classics to action-packed dramas, this concert has something for everyone and will feature choreography, small group performances, and more.

Kapa Day

This  Saturday, the Maui Historical Society is hosting a special Kapa Event from 10 am – 1 pm. There will have food, vendors, and some activities for everyone to enjoy. Learn about the Hawaiian practices (Kapa) and the value of the practice. There will also have a special event going on after the public event exclusively for members, so it’s a perfect time to sign up.

Explore Down at the Pond

Saturday’s gone wild! Get outside and explore one of Maui’s hidden gems. Keālia Pond is host to over 30 species of birds, including migratory waterfowl and the endangered Hawaiian stilt and coot. The refuge has walking trails and a coastal boardwalk located in Maui’s largest lowland wetland. Fun for the kids and the kids at heart with crafts and activities. Explore the visitor center, bird viewing area, and Keālia Coastal Boardwalk.
