Hunts, bunnies, and more oh my!

Go to the Races

The racing season at Paradise Speedway opens this Saturday, April 8th. The course has new updates and is fun for the whole family.  The schedule includes races in 7 different classes as well as an intermission with a meet and greet. Guests may head onto the track to meet racers and see their vehicles up close. Bring your own food or enjoy the Holoholo garlic noodle food truck. According to their Facebook page, there is a bus coming from Lahaina that still has room, so if you’re interested in hopping on, visit their page for more information.

The Art of Trashion

The Maui Mall is hosting the Art of Trash & Trashion Show this Saturday. There will be live music, the opening of the art gallery and the trashion show of garments made with recycled materials.

Celebration of the Arts

Celebration of the Arts, Hawaiʻi’s premier cultural event, takes place April 7-8 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. A signature event now in its 31st year, this year’s theme is he aha koʻu kuleana, or “What is my responsibility?” Residents and visitors alike are invited to experience the heart and soul of Hawaiʻi through artisans, cultural practitioners, workshops, films, music, hula performances, food, and more.
Guests can look forward to the Celebration of Island Tastes and the Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Haʻihaʻi Falsetto Contest as well as hands-on excursions with community nonprofits Hui O Waʻa Kaulua and Puʻu Kukui Watershed.
