Gimme a Beat!
The Hawaii Beatbox Championship features the linguistic and musical gymnastics of a talented group of young artists. This is an all-ages show and audience participation fires up the battles, so come support your favorites and be inspired by their beatbox prowess. Pono Akiona has performed all over the world and has helped nurture the beatboxing community in Hawai’i, plus beloved local comedian Chino LaForge will delight any family member as the event’s host.

Go see Matilda Jr. The Musical
For Roald Dahl fans, Theatre Theatre Maui presents Matilda Jr the Musical this weekend at the Bozich Center. The courtyard cafe will be open from 6 pm for snacks and treats before the show. Keep in mind there are different casts for performances so make sure you buy tickets for the correct evening. There will also be a silent auction each night to help raise funds for Theatre Theatre Maui programs. You can purchase tickets online at the link below in addition to door sales on the night.
