Celebrate Read Across America Week

The Maui Mall Village is hosting its very first Kids Club, a quarterly activity designed to delight children with a variety of enjoyable activities. Bring your keiki to take part in an array of age-appropriate projects, such as crafts based on various timely themes and holidays. The events will also include hosted snacks for Kids Club participants. This Saturday, come down and celebrate ‘Read Across America Week’ & Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with crafts, giveaways, and sweet treats (while supplies last). This event is free to attend and will be open to children 12 years and under.

Art Affair 2023

Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center’s signature fundraising event is back and reimagined! Come celebrate with us in-person as we kick off Art Affair 2023! Hosted at the historic Kaluanui Estate in collaboration with White Orchid Wedding, this exclusive event will feature gourmet food by Chef Bev Gannon and Celebrations Catering, artist demonstrations by Hui teaching artists, a live auction, and dancing! Enjoy live music by Grammy Winner Garret Probst, Jordan Soon & Liz Morales, and BrownChicken BrownCow String Band. Come dressed in your finest floral couture for an evening in celebration of the arts. This is a 21+ event.

Ka Huaka’ihele “The Journey “

Grammy nominee and multi Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, Kumu Hula Kamaka Kukona has reached a milestone in his hula career – 20 years of teaching hula. Born on Maui, this musician, vocalist, songwriter, record producer, kumu hula and educator earned the Male Vocalist of the Year and Most Promising Artist awards at the 2014 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. Enjoy a beautiful evening helping him celebrate this momentous occasion along with the students of Hālau o ka Hanu Lehua and several special guest artists including luminaries Kalani Pe’a & Amy Hanaiali`i.
