The Holidays…Maui Style

20130604-132046.jpg1. It’s 80 degrees out, not a snowball in sight
2. Hot Cocoa is enjoyed in the air conditioned coffee shop or a red & green shave ice is had instead
3. Our town’s Christmas tree is a Banyan…the largest Banyan in the U.S!
4. We make sand angels instead of snow angels
5. And wear leis instead of scarves
6. Santa throws a shaka and rides in on an outrigger with sea turtles as his reindeer
7. And Mrs. Clause may even wear a bikini!
8. We hang shells and kukui nut garlands on our Christmas trees
9. And roast a pig in an outdoor imu instead of turning on the hot oven for some turkey
10. And best of all, we make our East coast friends jealous with photos of Christmas Day spent at the beach!
