St. John’s Kula Festival

Saturday, September 22, 9AM – 3PM

St. John’s Episcopal Church at 8992 Kula Highway, across from Keokea Park, has held its annual Kula Festival for 30 years as of this year. It is an upcountry tradition that everyone looks forward to. There will be children’s games, lots of ono food, produce, plants, gift baskets, silent auction and live entertainment throughout the day. This year will feature Napua Makua and Halau Hula Na Lei Kaumaka O uka and many others. Because this is the 30th year for this event there will be an emphasis on the history of the area, the church and the festival. If you have old pictures of Keokea, please call us. Also there will be a prize for the best 80’s costume!

The proceeds this year will be shared with the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center and the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program. For any further information please call 878-1485.
