The Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra kicks off their 2018-2019 Season on Saturday, September 1, 2018 with the Philharmonic Orchestra rehearsal from 9:00 AM-11:15 AM at the Baldwin High School Band Room.
Students ages 11-18, who have had at least three years experience either in a class or privately, and play the violin, viola, cello, string bass, flute, piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French Horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba and percussion instruments are invited join the orchestra. A teacher recommendation must also be submitted.
MYPO also offers various violin classes under the direction of Mrs. Rona Landrigan and cello classes under the direction of Ms. Keani Kahuhu. Both classes also meet at Baldwin High School Band Room on Saturdays.
