Whole Foods Market is pecking down the prices on its whole chickens for one day only. On Friday, May 17, shoppers in Whole Foods Market’s Southern Pacific region will have the opportunity to purchase Pitman Family Farms’ whole fryer chicken for just $1.59 per pound (regular $3.29 per pound).

Every bird is raised the way nature intended, bringing pure and savory flavor, fresh from the farm to the table.

“We are committed to satisfying our customers by providing only the highest quality natural and organic products available,” said Mike Hacaga, Whole Foods Market regional meat coordinator. “Pitman Family Farms treat their chickens with respect and compassion, raising healthier chickens that taste better and which shoppers can feel good about purchasing.”
