This special annual ceremony will be conducted by the ‘Ahahui Ka’ahumanu Society including oli (chant), pule (blessing), history, hula, mele (song) and draping of lei on the Queen’s statue. The ‘Ahahui Ka‘ahumanu Society will be the only group to drape lei on Queen Ka’ahumanu’s statue this evening.  Public is asked to be respectful of the Queen’s statue and surrounding areas.

Join us for a Coastal Highway Cleanup, Saturday March 14! Welcome Highway 30 (between Mile Marker 10 & 12) to the MSG ‘Ohana! We officially adopted this stretch of the coastline earlier this year, and we would like to invite all of you to help us take care of this beloved and scenic area! FREE limited-edition t-shirts to the first 5 volunteers. Meet us at 8am at the Lahaina side Pali Hike parking area (across from Papalaua State Wayside Park). Please bring a refillable water bottle, sun protection and gloves if you have them (more will be provided). Due to the busy highway, please wear bright clothing (some orange vests will be available) and children should be supervised.
