The 2014 Relay For Life of Central and South Maui will be held on Saturday, June 28 beginning at 6PM. Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Monies raised will fund educational programs, research, advocacy and services to cancer patients. Teams are now registering for this annual overnight event. Ten kid-run businesses have been invited to set up shop in center court at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center on a Saturday, with each business allowed to keep all earnings from the day. Each business has minimal parental involvement. The ages of this year’s selected proprietors range from eight to 13.
