Once Upon a Time; Storybook Dances

Over 150 student dancers present ballet, contemporary, and jazz pieces to recreate beloved storybook tales like Thumbelina, Peter Pan, and even Harry Potter! $15 adults $10 ages 2-12. VIP: $25/$18.
Film Festival June 3rd
Join us on June 3rd for our 7th annual Huliau Youth Environmental Film Festival! Films this year range from documentaries on coral bleaching to a musical parody of Under the Sea. Celebrate with our students as they present the 9 short environmental films that they have created this year.

This annual weekend event showcases 4-H projects, livestock auction, Maui made products, produce, food vendors, live entertainment, rodeo, and paniolo life
9am to 5pm at the historic Oskie Rice Arena in Makawao! Maui’s 4-H youth have been holding an annual livestock auction for over 60 years. Support Maui’s 4-H youth projects by attending this weekend long fair. In addition to the livestock auction, there is live entertainment, Maui craft and produce vendors, ono kine grinds and treats, the Ohana Rodeo, Keiki play area, Paniolo heritage tent and displays.

We will be recognizing two invaluable volunteers who have donated hundreds of hours of their time to help restore the Refuge. The sweet voices of the keiki of Punana Leo o Maui Hawaiian immersion preschool will kick off the day, live music by Ron Kualaau and Zanuck Lindsey, and various activities for the family!
