Imua Family Services Free Developmental Screening
September 1 at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center
On Saturday, September 1, 2012 Imua Family Services, and their team of specialized children’s therapists, is hosting a free drop-in fair at Queen Ka’ahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului. Families can meet and speak with their therapists regarding their children’s strengths and any possible areas of concern, growth and development. If parents are unsure of developmental milestones their children should be reaching, this is the perfect opportunity to find out if their child is on track. So if you have questions regarding your child’s development, Imua’s staff will provide answers to empower your child and your family.
Each child/family that receives a developmental screening from Imua’s team will receive a coupon for a free train ride on the Cubby Caboose that day!
Imua Family Services is the island’s leader in providing comprehensive early childhood development services to children with developmental delays, special needs and disabilities and to their families with the support and resources needed to achieve their full potential in life. Each year, over 2,500 community members on Maui and Lanai receive support from Imua Family Services through the Infant & Child Development Program, Early Childhood Development Program, Newborn Hearing Screening, and Camp Imua.

Valley Isle Gymnastics Labor Day Camp
While regularly scheduled classes are taking the day off in honor of Labor Day, you can still make sure the keiki have a fun, safe place to be while you go do a little exhaling for yourself. Camps for ages 4 & up are available 9:00am – Noon and Noon to 3:00pm. Register from the comfort of your own home online at www.valleyislegymnastics.com.
Each camp session is $35. After enrolling for camp, you will receive a confirmation followed by an invoice which can be paid online.
