How did you learn how to cook?
My mommy.
What’s the first thing you learned to make?
Pancakes.
What’s your favorite ingredient and why?
Chocolate chips because I LOVE chocolate and I want to eat it all day, but my daddy says no.
What meal do you enjoy preparing most and why? 
Dessert because it’s soooooo yummy.
Do you have a signature dish? If so, what is it?
Ya, I know what…. pancakes.
What’s the last dish you attempted that was a total failure? What did you learn?
Nothing.
What tip can you share with other kids who may be intimidated by cooking?
Don’t be scared, it’s just pancakes. 
 
 

Mason’s Rainbow Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients
2 cups pancake mix
1 1/2 cup water 
Chocolate Chips
Food coloring
Toppings (pick your favorites!)

Directions
1. Mix in bowl until smooth.
2. Add 1 fist full of mini chocolate chips (maybe 2, if your mom lets you)
3. Mix.
4. Add 1 drop of each red, green, blue food coloring (3 drops total)
5. Stir lightly 3 times so it looks like rainbows (if you over stir, it will look like mud, but they will still be yummy)
6. Heat skillet on med-low heat. 
7. Scoop 1/4 cup mix onto a lightly greased skillet.
8. Wait until you see bubbles on the pancakes and flip
9. When done top with your favorite toppings. (Mine are whip cream, sprinkles, and syrup.)
