Update For Summer 2012

I hope you are all happy and healthy and enjoying this beautiful month of May.
Summer is approaching and the school year is winding down. The contract year for Keiki Playmornings is also winding down. (It ends at the end of June).  I create quarterly and annual statistical reports for the program, so all the paperwork, registration forms and questionnaires I have given you need to be be turned in to me before the end of June. ( If you haven’t done an Ages and Stages Questionnaire yet, let me know and I will give you one).
We had our last Haiku Playmorning for this school year last Wednesday. (The Haiku Boys and Girls Club becomes unavailable in the school holidays as the schoolchildren are all there.) Many of our Haiku families still want to get together over the Summer months. I won’t be there, but the plan is for families to get together at Giggle Hill Park on Kokomo Road every Wednesday, same time (9.30-11.30). Giggle Hill is a wonderful park, if any of you folks from other parts of the island want to go join the fun.
There will be no Playmornings Monday May 28th (Memorial Day) and Monday June 11th (Kamehameha Day). All other May and early June Playmornings are as usual . (Mondays Kahului Boys and Girls Club, Tuesdays Kam 3, Kihei, Thursdays Kula Park, all 9.30-11.30) June 25th through the end of July there will be Summer break for Playmornings. I will be doing annual reports and reorganising our supplies for when we start back up in August.
