IMG_3376Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao received a generous donation to support the Hui’s Youth Scholarship Fund. This donation provides tuition assistance for children ages 2.5 to 17 who demonstrate financial need and wish to participate in the visual arts. The Hui offers visual art programs in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, jewelry design, metalsmithing, printmaking, photography, digital media, ceramics, and more. Classes are led by professional teaching artists devoted to inspiring creativity of young artists and fostering a lifelong love of learning in the visual arts.  The Hui also offers a series of “Family Friday” workshops that engage students and accompanying guardians in creative art projects that provide fun for all! The Hui encourages teachers to provide the scholarship application to students or families who they feel would greatly benefit from a scholarship to attend a Hui class or camp.

Interested students can obtain a Scholarship Application by contacting the Hui Registrar at (808) 572-6560 or via email at [email protected]. Visit huinoeau.com for a complete list of classes.
