Camp Kaluanui offers a diverse, visual arts curriculum geared to stretch minds, exercise imaginations, keep the body active, and introduce new idea-generating techniques. Surrounded by the beauty of the Hui’s historical Kaluanui Estate, campers paint, build, design, dance, sing, and play their way through a balanced variety of artistic activities each day. Make sure to bring plenty of snacks, an energizing lunch, water, closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get artsy. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Explore three different art media in this creative and fun spring break intensive! All art classes take place in the Hui’s professionally equipped studios. In the morning, students will learn the art of printmaking or photography. After lunch, teens will learn to saw, cut, hammer, and solder in the jewelry and metalsmithing studio. Spring break is the perfect opportunity to try something new, get creative, and have fun with your friends—and you’ll walk away with amazing works of art that you created yourself!
