Creative Critters (ages 5-9) with Jessica Nelson 
Tuesdays Sept 8th  – Nov 10th, 3:00-3:45 $100; Tuesdays Sept 8th – Nov 10th 4:00-4:45 $100
For budding actors who are interested in exploring drama, dance, music, singing, visual arts, and creative play.  Presented in a supportive, nurturing environment – youngsters are provided an opportunity to sing and dance while playing instruments and creating bold characters. 

Youth Acting Lab (grades 3rd – 6th)  with Bailey Miller
Thursdays Sept 10th  – Nov 12th 3:00-3:45 $100; Thursdays Sept 10th  – Nov 12th  4:00-4:45 $100
Students explore movement, vocalization, character development and ensemble-building.  Through workshop exercises, students begin to develop acting skills needed to create truthful characters. 

Beginning/Intermediate Tap (ages 13+) with Nicole Heinlein ; Tuesdays Sept 8th  –  Nov 10th 5:00-6:00 $80. Designed to nurture students develop rhythm, style and sound while exploring a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Build flexibility, coordination and speed of movement.

What: Are you ready to create an original Maui Onstage production with other teens around the island and possibly around the world? Join directors Tina Kailiponi, Dejah Padon, and Bailey Miller  as they guide you in learning how to create an original online production (similar to Saturday Night Live), how to use the camera, voices, and facial expressions to help develop your character, how to work with others virtually, how to create props and costumes with things around your home, and learn new virtual drama games.

Classes are online & open for registration! The Hui offers classes, workshops, and camps for all ages and artistic abilities. Taught by professional Teaching Artists, Hui classes include programs in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, jewelry, ceramics, glassblowing, Hawaiian arts, and more! The Hui also brings exceptional teaching artists to Maui as part of our Visiting Artist program. We offer classes for children as young as 2.5 years old through adult. Printmaking Lab • Ages 5 & up
Aug. 25–Nov. 20 • Tues.: 9–10am, Wed.: 3:30–4:30pm, Thurs.: 3:30–4:30pm, Fri.: 3:15–4:15pm or 4:30–5:30pm

Students will learn basic printmaking techniques to create beautiful one-of-a-kind prints. We will experiment with many forms of printmaking, such as stamping, monoprints, collographs, and relief prints. Students will use printmaking tools and paints.

Craft Workshops • All Ages

Friends & Faire is a place where people can gather to create, learn, and share their knowledge of their craft with others. Keiki and adult workshops include macrame, jewelry making, wood signs, wall hangings, and more. Check the website for the schedule or book a private workshop party. Art Lessons with Jennifer Valenzuela

Small group (6-10) 4 week-long lessons starting 8/18 at my ½ open-air studio in Pukalani. $30/class plus 1 time $20 materials fee. 

  • Mondays: 9-11 Native Maui nui species study using watercolors and mixed media. All ages
  • Tuesdays: Imagined Landscape painting all ages.
  • Wednesdays: 9-11 Examining creative expression through portraiture, techniques, and style various media.
