Celebrate Halloween

If you missed our complete round-up of the many activities for your keiki this holiday weekend, check it out now. Most retail centers are hosting trick-or-treat and costume parties, there are several drive-throughs, walk-throughs, and local school events, And we even included fun for parents’ night out. Below we highlighted an event from each area of the island.

Waldorf School Night of Delights

Head up to the magical Waldorf campus for a Night of Delights. Wear a friendly costume that is not scary and no masks are allowed. Bring a flashlight to light your way. Children will receive bags to collect their treats and enjoy free popcorn and juice. Suggested ages: Children 6 & under 4:30pm show; 10 & under: 630pm show. The High School students will serve a chili dinner as an HWS fundraiser.

𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞-𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐮 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤

The County of Maui will again host a scary but fun Halloween Drive-Thru Adventure from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Keopuolani Regional Park. Event highlights include Maui Classic Cruisers’ vintage car showcase, LahainaTown Action Committee’s popular Mystery Maze, and a Pumpkin Patch. Generous treat stations will be staffed by volunteers from the County of Maui and community partners.  A Keiki Buckle-up Area will be available for families with babies and young children so youngsters can get safely get back into their car seats and boosters before exiting onto Kanaloa Avenue.

Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest

If you love dressing up your family pet on Halloween, bring them down to South Maui Gardens for a Pet Parade and Costume Contest. Prizes for small dogs, large dogs, other pets and people ages 0-6 years, 7-15 years, 16+. Live Music with Capt Kirk and the KolabIrators


43rd Annual Halloween Keiki Parade on Front Street

LahainaTown Action Committee and the Rotary Clubs of Lahaina are excited to announce the return of the 43rd Annual Halloween Keiki Parade on Front Street. “This year’s event will be modified with safety and limited resources top of mind,” he says, and will include only the traditional parade. Keiki are invited to don their best costume, walk down Front Street and have the chance to walk across stage and get their bag of goodies. “We’ll have the traditional kick-off by Parade Marshall Mayor Victorino, who will lead the Lahainaluna Marching Band and Maui Shriners Clubs along beautiful Front Street,” says Joseph Pluta, the parade’s master of ceremonies for over 43 years. A friendly reminder that this is a pedestrian parade only, so please no vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, golf carts, etc. Front Street will reopen immediately following the parade.
