For Da Keiki Resource Fair and Distribution

PacWhale Eco-Adventures is hosting a FREE “For Da Keiki” event this Saturday, September 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM. They are dedicated to supporting the Maui community post wildfires. There will be food, entertainment, prizes, games, and more in the Ma’alaea Harbor Shops Courtyard.

Also in Ma’alaea at the Maui Ocean Center: Each Saturday and Sunday, kama‘āina admission is $10 for keiki (child) and $15 for makua (adult) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with last entry at 4 p.m.) A valid Hawai‘i state ID is required, with the exception of affected Lāhainā and Upcountry residents. For tickets, choose the “Kama‘āina Weekends” option at mauioceancenter.com/reservations.

Mālama Wao Akua Opening Reception

Celebrate the opening of Mālama Wao Akua – an annual juried art exhibition honoring the native species of Maui Nui. In honor of the tragic fires on Maui, this event will benefit the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund with a $5 per vehicle suggested donation at entry. Live performances by Liz Morales & Jordan Soon and Hālau Wehiwehi O Leilehua, food, informational booths, lei making, and free art projects for keiki.
