Family Day at the Sugar Museum

It’s the 36th anniversary of the Sugar Museum and they are celebrating with a free, family-friendly event. Get hands-on with crafts, walk on “can stilts” and play plantation games, cool down with shave ice, enter to win a prize, do some shopping, and see new museum exhibits. Check out the “Plant Your Legacy” garden program, reminisce and talk story at the Sugar Plantation Camp Registry, and more.

Pumpkin Patch Opens

Kula Country Farms opens the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 1. Every year the farm creates wonderful hand-painted displays for photo opportunities, offers a variety of pumpkins, gourds, and more grown on the farm, and invites you and your family to explore the property.  Bring a cart to transport your pumpkins (and your toddlers!), be prepared to get a little dirty, and enjoy this can’t-miss fall activity.

Love for Lāhainā

Love for Lāhainā is a culinary pop-up series dedicated to supporting the hospitality industry and farmers across the island who have been impacted by the recent wildfires. Every Sunday in October, enjoy signature dishes from celebrated Lāhainā restaurants and beloved chefs, as you give back directly to those who have lost their homes and jobs. Chefs include Lee Anne Wong, Kalei Ducheneau, Samual Taganeca, Eric Morrissette, and Isaac Bancaco. Each event will feature a three-course prix fixe family-style menu and includes a glass of champagne.
