Design a T-shirt
Submissions close today at 12:00PM HST on Friday, May 28, 2021. The Maui Humane Society is hosting a t-shirt contest for all the creative geniuses on Maui. All ages and levels of experience are welcome to participate, and they encourage keiki and adults to find their inner artists. Submissions can either hand-drawn or digital, but they must be original. Just fill out the form here and upload your creation. You can submit up to 3 designs for consideration.
A winner will be selected by Maui Humane Society and have their winning design printed on t-shirts that will be made available in their official store. The winner will be announced on Monday, May 31, 2021. mauihumanesociety.org/mhs-t-shirt-competition

The premier Hawaiian language & entertainment event of the year is back, benefiting Pūnana Leo o Maui. The next Ho’omau 2021 series event is happening this weekend at the Maui Nui Botanical Garden. There will be a market of fresh produce sponsored by their mākua mahiʻai, live entertainment, kuʻi kalo demonstration and some of the community’s favorite local shops will be popping up and joining us for this event. Make a lei for a loved one
This coming Monday, May 31st is Memorial Day and we honor all the people who died while serving in the U.S. military. Stringed leis will be brought to sites across the island to honor their sacrifice and memory. It is also graduation time and we can finally celebrate in person again, so pile those leis high. The future is bright!
