Celebrate Queen Ka‘ahumanu’s Birthday 

To commemorate her 254th birthday and Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center’s 50th anniversary, a special celebration is being held at center stage on Friday, March 18, 2022. Starting at 6:00 p.m., festivities include protocol led by ʻAhahui Kaʻahumanu, Chapter IV from Wailuku and lei draping at Queen Ka‘ahumanu’s statue, followed by a Kama‘āina Nights concert at 6:30 p.m. with Hawai’i’s own, the incomparable Paula Fuga.

Spend a Night on Broadway

Mohala Maui is a student produced benefit concert featuring mostly student acts from all around Maui. For this year’s edition of Mohala Maui the theme is “A Night On Broadway.” All proceeds will go to the Women’s Fund of Hawaii in honor of Women’s History Month. This concert will feature musical theater themed acts, and has Miss Hawaii Teen USA, Malulani Paiste, as a guest speaker. The concert will also include door prizes featuring local businesses, and a photobooth with Miss Hawaii Teen USA.

Go to the Grand Opening of Plantation Museum

Lahaina Cannery announced the opening of Plantation Museum, presented by Lahaina Restoration Foundation. This exhibit is a free, self-guided tour with a collection of authentic artifacts from the Maui Plantation Era. The Grand Opening will be on Saturday, March 19 from 2pm-4pm with refreshments and live music by The Maui Jam Band from 2pm-3:30pm.

Save Lives and Donate Blood

In Hawaii, it requires 150 to 200 donors a day to maintain our local blood inventory at safe levels. Because there has been a chronic blood shortage on the mainland, The Blood Bank of Hawaii is counting on local donors to meet that need.
