Maui Friends of the Libary Big Book Sale
Do you need to replenish your home library this summer? On Saturday, June 24th between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., you can get books and DVDs for just $1 (up to 10 items) at the Maui Friends of the Libary Big Book Sale in Pu‘unēnē. There will also be free books for teachers and at-home educators. 100% of the proceeds benefit Maui County libraries.

The Makawao Parade
Kicking off a week of festivities, the Makawao Parade is back after a 3-year hiatus. Starting at 9 am through historic Makawao town, the parade will then end at the Oskie Rice Event Center for a Country Concert. There will be horseback riders, classic cars, tracks, music from Marty Dread, and more. Fun for the whole family so bring your tents, lawn chairs, and blankets and enjoy your Saturday Upcountry. Vendors and ono food will be onsite throughout.

Ocean Front Sunset Cookout Series
Every Wednesday, through August 16, Wailea Beach Resort presents a new Ocean Front Cookout Series. Designed as an outdoor BBQ with lawn games, music, and entertainment, this event is a fresh idea for a special night of family fun. Enjoy a welcome beverage as you arrive, then hit up the amazing spread that covers all the BBQ favorites—from brisket and grilled corn, to burgers and mac and cheese. There are also fish and vegetarian/vegan options. Kids will love the DIY s’mores station where they can toast up marshmallows and parents can sit back and enjoy the live music with the backdrop of the setting sun.
