The 2024 Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pā‘ū Parade and Ho‘olaule‘a

This parade, normally set in Lāhainā for its historical significance, will now take place in Central Maui The Hawai’i-wide theme is “He Inoa No Kalaninui Kamehameha” – Honor to Kamehameha the Great. 
  • The parade route will start at 9:45 am from Maui Lani Parkway to Waiehu Beach Road along Ka‘ahumanu Avenue.
  • Following the parade, head to Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center for the ho‘olaule‘a.

Family Science Night

For your science-minded, ocean-loving keiki, there will be a kid-friendly lecture on “How do you conduct research on a Humpback Whale?”  with a showing of a “Wild Kratts” program that features Marc Lammers, Research Coordinator, demonstrating for kids whale research techniques.

Sharks After Dark

For an adults-only night out, “Dive Back into the 90s” at the Maui Ocean Center for a night of music and food by Seascape Restaurant.

25th Annual Taiko Festival

Zenshin Daiko’s 25th Annual Taiko Festival concert will feature On Ensemble from Los Angeles and Kenny Endo from Oahu.  Zenshin Daiko will have almost 50 members performing some of their favorite pieces.
