Run (or walk) a marathon by the ocean.
The 14th Maui Oceanfront Marathon (MOM) is returning Sunday, January 16. The marathon starts at The Shops at Wailea at 4am for walkers, 4:40am for ages 55+ and 5am for the remaining racers. The Maui Oceanfront Marathon is a community event that benefits local school teams and clubs as well as Maui nonprofit group that help put on the marathon. Do you know someone who’s gone above and beyond for Hawaiʻi’s keiki? The Hawaii Children’s Action Network (HCAN) is now accepting nominations for our annual Champions for Children awards. This year, HCAN will present four awards: Innovator, Unsung Hero, Family-Friendly Employer, and Advocate.
