Lahaina Cannery is pleased to invite Maui residents and visitors to partake in some Valentine’s Day family fun and games on Saturday, February 13th. From 11 am to 1 pm parents are encouraged to bring their keiki aged 10 and under to the center for in-person and socially distanced Be Mine Bingo and crafts. All craft materials will be provided for individual use and prizes awarded to Bingo winners. Plus, each participant will receive a Valentine’s Day treat. Whale Tales is an educational and fundraising event presented annually by Whale Trust, to promote and support scientific research and education. In 2021, presentations will be broadcast through an online platform that will feature experiential and interactive opportunities for attendees of all ages. Attendees will hear from marine scientists, photographers, filmmakers, and conservationists around the world about their latest work. With two days of featured presentations, an on-demand library, virtual ocean experiences, an online local-business expo, and educational opportunities with marine science organizations, this unique opportunity is one you won’t want to miss.
