FREE Keiki IDs from MPD/MFD
This Friday, August 2, from 10a-1pm, Maui Police Department and Maui Fire Department are making keiki ID’s at QKC.
The event is FREE. The IDs are for children younger than 12 and keiki must be accompanied by an adult. The first 100 children will get a free water bottle sleeve (and water) and other giveaway items. Parents can enter a drawing for a $50 grocery gift card.
The event is taking place at the Islands of Hope-Maui resource center kiosk near the children’s play area at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center.

F-22 Raptors Exhibit
The Hawaiʻi Air National Guard is flying over four F-22 Raptors from Oʻahu to Kahului Airport on Maui between August 1-3. There will be a F-22 Raptor exhibit that the public is welcome to check out on Aug. 2, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The aircraft will be in a secured area, but those interested in seeing the exhibit can park for free at Kanahā Beach Park and meet security on-site who can lead them to the exhibit.
The Hawaiʻi Air National Guard is conducting training to ensure the aircraft will be able to divert to alternate air fields within the Hawaiian Islands, in the event of any state emergencies.
