Youth (ages 6–16 years old) and adult volunteer mentors are matched in a one-to-one friendship based on gender, interests, personalities, and geographic locations. Volunteers are carefully screened and trained to create a positive impact by sharing their friendship, guidance, and support. Pairs meet two to three times per month to spend quality one-on-one time together and form meaningful memories through little everyday moments like sharing a slice of pizza and getting shave ice. Matches are professionally supported by one of our staff members, who also provides resources and support to the entire family unit.
