Explore a world of possibilities with lost wax casting as you learn to turn sculpted wax designs into wearable works of art. You will use traditional wax carving tools, discover the proper way to set up your designs with sprues, and invest them in fine jewelers plaster. See how the most intricate of details will show, as your wax designs are replaced with molten metal. Brass metal will be included with lab fee and silver will be available for purchase. No previous jewelry class required. Fee: $105 ($132 nonmember) Supplies: $25

Wire Wrapping Workshop

Bring in beads and objects that are inspiring to you and transform them into rings, and links for earrings, bracelets, or necklaces. You will use silversmithing pliers and various wires as you learn basic wire wrapping techniques, how to make simple clasps, and tips for functional designs. Brass and copper wire will be included in the supply fee & silver will be available for purchase in the studio with cash or checks. Fee: $45 ($57 nonmember) Supplies: $15
