A pregnant mama can be a tired mama due to the ever growing belly and pressure on her back and bladder! Here are some tips to get a better night’s sleep during the warmer summer months.

Grab a body pillow

Extra pillows are a pregnant woman’s best friend. Get one for behind your back and one for between your knees; this helps relieve the pressure and gives you much needed support to feel comfortable.

Keep a cool room

Being pregnant makes you hot. Add to that the summer months, and sleeping can be near impossible. Summer is a great time to invest in an extra fan for your room. The humming of the fan can also help lull you to sleep so this is a two-for tip!

Enjoy Lavender love

Lavender has a wonderful calming effect. Grab a lavender filled small pillow and lay it next to your bed or under your larger pillows. The smell will help you get in that calm, peaceful place so you can get some zzzzz’s.
