Polli’s
Yee-ha! Polli’s, a Mexican café, is da bomb! They’re open for lunch and dinner. Call 572-7808 for take-out. I love going there after school to eat. On Wednesday I did just that. This is a great place for kids, but please keep your kids in their seats. There is a T.V. that shows surfing shows. There are booths and tables.
The children’s plates are for 12 yr. olds and younger. The kids menu has Tacos, Cheese Enchiladas, Cheese Quesadillas, and a Small Burrito. The first 3 choices have a choice of rice or beans; the last choice is filled with
beans, cheese, and rice. The price is $5.50. It is Kids Night on Tuesday. The children’s plates are only $2.50 (for kids under 12; two children’s plates per one adult entrée).
I had the Uncle Joe’s Steak Dinner. It is an 8 oz. New York Strip, grilled to perfection, with just a taste of barbeque sauce. Served with sautéed mushrooms, baked potato, and green salad, on the dinner menu. My mom had the Chimichanga Dinner. That has crispy fried burrito, stuffed with your choice of chicken, beef, pork, or veggie taco mix, cheese, beans, and rice. Topped with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sprouts, and olives. Served with Mexican rice and beans. Prices very from $3.95-$10.50 on the lunch menu and $3.95-$17.95 on the dinner menu.
