Founded in 2014 by a group of dedicated parents/volunteers the Maui Science Center has become a popular part of the community, bringing innovative and interactive experiences to the public in form of Science Shows, Interactive family Workshops, Science Carnivals and more. In 2016 traveling program Science on Wheels was launched as part of the outreach, sharing exciting demonstrations and hands-on labs at local classrooms and community organizations. To move beyond the “pop up events” the Maui Science Center is ready to create a physical presence by renting an initial space in central Maui. But this is only possible with a generous support of Maui community. Using Discovery, Fun, Excitement, and Hands-On Learning, and through effective partnership the MSC will become a social and educational powerhouse for curious minds of all ages.
